Using it as multimeter, it can measure AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, diode an continuity. As a battery tester, it has three ranges 1.5V, 6V and 9V. Also you can use it to test both telephone lines and cable lines, such as T168A, T568B, 10Base-T and token rings, it will check short circuit, miswire, reversed pair and split pair. It also has some very nice features such as back-lit LCD screen, data hold, tilt back-stand and etc..
